The Repost Strategy - How to 3x Your Network Reach (And Earn While Doing It)
This Lucres feature pays you to help people find jobs.
Hello from your favourite work bestie!
What if I tell you there is a feature that allows you to earn money on Lucres?
No, I’m not talking about some pyramid scheme or “get rich quick” nonsense.
I’m talking about the Repost feature.
It’s crazy that 90% of Lucres users have no idea how powerful it actually is.
While you’re busy scrolling through job postings looking for YOUR next opportunity, you could simultaneously be:
Helping people in your network land jobs.
Building your reputation as a connector in your industry.
Getting MORE visible to recruiters.
Earning money when your connections get hired.
All from clicking one button and adding a sentence or two.
Sounds too good to be true? Let me break down exactly how this works.
What Is the Lucres Repost Feature? (And Why Should You Care?)
Okay, let’s start with the basics. You know how on other platforms you can “share” posts? Lucres has something similar, but way better.
Here’s how it works:
You see a job posting on your feed (or search for jobs in your industry).
You click the “Repost” button.
You add a quick note about why this job is great or who’d be perfect for it.
It shows up on your profile for all your connections to see.
When someone from YOUR network applies and gets hired, you earn a referral reward.
Simple, right?
But here’s what most people miss: Even if nobody gets hired, you’re STILL winning.
Let me explain.
The Benefit of The Repost Strategy.
Sure, earning money is cool. But here are some other benefits of this system;
1. Lucres’ Algorithm LOVES Active Users.
Remember how we talked about profile optimization last week?
Well, here’s a secret: Lucres prioritizes active users in recruiter searches. When you regularly repost relevant content, the algorithm sees you as engaged and valuable to the community.
Result?
Your profile shows up more often when recruiters search for candidates. Think of it like Instagram. The more you interact, the more Instagram shows your content to others. Same deal here.
2. You Build a Reputation as a Connector.
Here’s something I learned from watching successful people on Lucres:
The person who helps others find opportunities becomes known as “the go-to person” in their industry.
When you consistently share quality job postings, people start thinking: “Oh, they’re really plugged into the tech hiring scene.” “They seem to know what’s happening in digital marketing.”
“I should stay connected with them, they always have good leads,” And guess what happens when those people hear about job openings?
They think of you.
3. Recruiters Notice You (In a Good Way).
When a recruiter sees you reposting jobs in your field, they think: “This person is actively engaged in the job market. They’re well-connected. They understand what companies are looking for.”
All of that makes you MORE attractive as a candidate.
How to Repost Like a Pro.
Alright, now that you get WHY reposting matters, let’s talk about HOW to do it right.
Because here’s the thing: Most people either don’t repost at all, or they do it SO badly that it actually hurts their reputation.
Let me show you the difference.
What BAD Reposting Looks Like:
Reposting 15 jobs in one day.
Just clicking “share” without adding any commentary.
Sharing jobs completely outside your field.
Reposting the same job 5 times in a week.
Adding generic comments like “Great opportunity!”
What GOOD Reposting Looks Like:
2-3 carefully selected jobs per week.
Always adding context: “This company has an incredible work culture” or “Perfect for someone transitioning from agency to in-house”
Staying in your niche (builds credibility).
Tagging specific people who might be interested.
Sharing insights about the role or company.
The 3-2-1 Repost Formula I Use
Here’s my weekly reposting strategy:
3 reposts per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
2 from my primary industry (the field I work in)
1 from an adjacent field (keeps my network diverse)
Why this works:
You stay visible without being annoying.
You establish expertise in YOUR field.
You help a broader audience.
How to Write Repost Captions That Actually Work.
Let me show you some real examples of repost captions I’ve used (and seen work):
Example 1: The Insider Perspective
Job: Senior Product Designer at TechCorp
Bad Caption:
“Great opportunity for designers! Apply now.”
Good Caption:
“I worked with TechCorp’s design team last year, and their collaborative culture is incredible. They actually listen to designers. If you’re a senior designer tired of being treated like a pixel pusher, check this out. They’re looking for someone with 4+ years of experience who can own projects end-to-end.”
Example 2: The Connector
Job: Content Writer at GrowthStartup
Bad Caption:
“Content writing job available.”
Good Caption:
“Calling all my writer friends! GrowthStartup is seeking someone who can write about SaaS products without sounding boring (a big challenge, I know 😄). They are looking for someone with SEO expertise and the ability to explain complex technology to non-technical individuals. Know anyone who fits? Tag them!”
Example 3: The Hype Builder.
Job: Full Stack Developer at InnovateLabs
Bad Caption:
“Developer position open.”
Good Caption:
“Okay, this is actually exciting. InnovateLabs is building an AI tool that helps small businesses automate their customer service. They just raised Series A funding and are scaling fast. Looking for a full-stack dev (React/Node) who wants to build something from scratch. Startup folks, this one’s for you.”
Example 4: The Honest Review
Job: Marketing Manager at BrandCo
Bad Caption:
“Marketing job, good salary.”
Good Caption:
“I’ve seen BrandCo’s marketing campaigns, and they’re doing some clever stuff with influencer partnerships. This role is perfect for someone bored with traditional marketing and who wants to experiment. They’re offering ₹8-12 LPA + performance bonuses. Downside? It’s a 6-day work week. So if work-life balance is your priority, maybe skip this one. But if you want to build your portfolio fast, it could be worth it.”
See the pattern? Good repost captions are:
Specific about the role.
Add value or context.
Written like you’re texting a friend.
Honest (even about the downsides).
Let’s talk about the money part because I know some of you are thinking:
“But I feel weird earning money from helping someone get a job...”
Let me reframe this for you.
You’re not TAKING anything from anyone. You’re CONNECTING people.
Think about it:
The company gets the candidate it needs.
The candidate gets the job they want.
You get rewarded for making that connection happen.
Everyone wins.
Recruiters and headhunters make THOUSANDS doing exactly this. You’re just doing it organically through your network.
No guilt necessary.
Plus, here’s the honest truth: Even if you never earn a single rupee from reposting, the visibility and reputation boost alone make it worth doing.
The money is just a nice bonus.
